E-mail Forwarding
What's e-mail forwarding? Just how does it function? In which circumstances is it particularly useful?
The term e-mail forwarding refers to a message being forwarded from a recipient address towards a third-party address which is not listed as a receiver. For example, a client sends out an e-mail from their private mail box to support@domain.com and as far as they are involved, it is the only recipient. If there's an active forwarding, the message can be forwarded to owner@domain.com, for instance, even though the customer never intended the e-mail to be sent there and might not be aware about the existence of this mailbox. There are different reasons for applying such forwarding. For instance, if you've got numerous e-mail addresses you can forward each of them to a sole mailbox, which will make monitoring e-mails simpler and will allow you to receive emails and respond to them on time. The feature can also be used if a number of individuals should receive a copy of an electronic message delivered to a general mailbox.

E-mail Forwarding in Shared Website Hosting
It is really easy to set up forwarding for virtually every email address created in a
shared website hosting account from us. You can do this either while you set up a new mailbox through your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel, or at any moment in the future since the forwarding can be activated and deactivated for every current email address with just a few mouse clicks. You can also choose if a backup copy of the incoming messages will be kept on our servers, which is a really practical feature. This will be a fail-safe if the remote email address is not accessible for whatever reason, not mentioning that you will have always a backup of all your e-mails. When this feature is not enabled for a specific e-mail on our end, an inbound e-mail will be received and sent forward, so zero record of it will remain on the server. If the remote email address is inaccessible for the moment, you will simply lose this e-mail.

E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Servers
Using a
semi-dedicated server plan from us, it takes a few clicks to forward one of your email addresses hosted inside the account to a third-party email address. You are able to do that in the feature-rich Email Manager part of the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel and during this process you can also choose if a copy of your e-mails should be kept on our servers or not. The last feature is optional, but rather helpful as you will get a copy of your inbound messages, so regardless of whether something happens with the other mailbox, you won't lose any data. It is easy to activate or disable the forwarding for every mailbox at any time and forward the e-mails to many email addresses if you'd like. You will also have the ability to see a list of all email addresses that are forwarded as well as exactly where the email messages are being forwarded to.
